The hair salon and the story
When Jess found out she was suffering from a devastating autoimmune disease she knew she could no longer commit to working full-time in anyone’s salon. Her family were facing ongoing challenges as she worked through the process of understanding her newly diagnosed Graves Disease. Instead of allowing the disease to defeat her, Jess decided to take the plunge into opening her own business.
Jess wanted to show her children that despite facing adversities and health problems she was still motivated to succeed. She began investing her time and energy into designing her very own hair salon here in Beaudesert, Head n Soul. She wanted to teach her children that no matter what happens, you never give up.
