Regardless of gender, age, race, sexuality, physical looks or disability, finding the right person for you is the most important decision you will ever make.
In a world of 7.8 billion people finding the right one for you is like winning the lottery so when you know you have met your soulmate pledging your love and commitment to that person in front of your family and friends is definitely one of the happiest times of your life.
Once you make that decision I will be there with you every step of the way – helping you to plan and write the ceremony that reflects your love story; giving you suggestions for music, readings, rituals; talking about trends, traditions and themes; talking about how to include family members, children or furbabies; holding your hand and calming you when the inevitable nerves kick in; handing you a hanky for the tears of happiness and making sure that everything is done in a correct and legal manner and your documents are completed and submitted on time.
Never forget when planning your wedding that the most important part is where you are joined together and you say the words that declare your love for each other in front of family and friends. Everything else – the dress, the flowers, the reception – are all important parts of the celebration of that love and so it needs to be a special and unique celebration done your way.
Your marriage ceremony is the most important part of the day.
Why settle for the norm when you can have a unique and personalised experience. The options are endless and only limited by your imagination.
- It can be a wedding or commitment ceremony
- It’s your choice whether it is lighthearted and fun or more formal and structured
- First or tenth wedding – involve family members, merge families and unite in love
- Ensemble weddings – include others; add an additional element eg a gender reveal if there is a baby on the way; a naming ceremony.
- Have an elopement or small wedding and use the extra money for your honeymoon or setting up your new life
- Themed weddings based on your favourite movies, books, characters, colours or decorations
- Destination weddings in places that are special to you.
- Surprise weddings where the guests are not aware that they are about to witness your wedding.
Almost anything you can imagine – remember Alice’s wedding on the Vicar of Dibley – maybe Teletubbies aren’t for you but everything can be considered. I am happy to work with you on almost anything provided it is not illegal, immoral and doesn’t include spiders!
You choose who is involved, what words are spoken, what actions are taken and what location is appropriate and I will provide you with copies of the script for review until you have the copy that is perfect for you.
Whatever you require we can work together to achieve your desired outcome. I will work through suggestions of music, readings, vows and rituals with you to find what makes the day special for you.
My commitment to you
I will be available for you to input ideas from the time you appoint me until the wedding ceremony is completed, I will arrive well before the ceremony to ensure everything is running smoothly and to assist in any way possible. I dress according to the theme or style of the day. I ensure everyone is seated in correct places; that mobile phones are turned off or are on silent and that everyone knows where to stand and what to do. I do more than just turn up and say the words of the ceremony. I take charge of the ceremony to ensure that it is a memorable and special occasion for all which will leave you with treasured memories for a lifetime.
